Aga Syed Ruhullah on land compensation case

Lok Sabha member Aga Syed Rubullah Mehdi on Sunday denied any participation in land compensation, called it 'April Fool Ki', saying that the allegations are 'baseless and politically motivated'.

The case related to the two-decade-old land acquisition process in the Bamina-inauspicious region came to light through a charge sheet filed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), which also has the name of Ruhullah Mehdi among the alleged beneficiaries.

“I am the third in the queue of heritage. I had no participation in any conversation or decisions related to the land. I was neither questioned nor questioned by any government agency by the ACB or any government agency. I came to know about the day on which it was filed.

He reiterated that the land was originally from his grandfather, late Aga Sahib and this compensation was legally honored to all the successors, including his family.

He said that the land was acquired by the government in the early 2000s to rehabilitate the residents of the Lake Lake, stating that compensation was determined on the basis of possession and agricultural use, citing cabinet decisions and official surveys that the process was legally justified.

“Thousands of thorns were acquired in that region and compensated similarly. If it is being introduced as a multi-gruesome scam, I invite the highest investigation. ACB, or even in NIA, if needed, it seems like a mockery of an April, which is done by April 13, which is described by April 13, which is described as his outputs.

He said that his share of compensation received about 20 years ago was Rs 80,000.

Expanding the political background, Ruhullah Mehdi accused the central government of marginalizing minorities and misusing legal institutions.

The Kashmir Valley's Firebrand MP said, “You cannot silence me with a fabricated cases. If you want I stop speaking, restore Article 370, maintain minority rights, and return dignity to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”

He also spoke about non-communication from his party, National Conference (NC), stating that none of the party leadership had contacted him, as the report about the ACB charge sheet was not made public.
