AVP Infracon bagged two industrial infrastructure projects from Reliance Mapedu Multi Modal Logistics Park.Chennai-based infrastructure company AVP Infracon on Friday said it has won projects worth ₹78.75 crore in the highways and industrial infrastructure sectors. The orders include a major road widening contract and two infrastructure development projects within the Reliance Mapedu Multi Modal Logistics Park in Tamil Nadu.
The company has received ‘L1’ status from the Superintending Engineer, Highways, Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu for a highway project worth ₹57.57 crore. The project involves widening and strengthening of Tiruvannamalai-Thyagadurgam Road from two lanes to four lanes and is targeted to be completed in 12 months.
Additionally, AVP Infracon secured two industrial infrastructure projects from Reliance Mapedu Multi Modal Logistics Park. The first order, valued at ₹12.77 crore, covers internal road construction and development within the logistics park. The second, worth ₹8.41 crore, includes RCC drain and OSBL infrastructure works. Both the projects are to be completed in three months.
According to AVP Infracon managing director Prasanna Dhanadayuthapani, the project includes construction of a center median, retaining walls, junction improvements, reconstruction of culverts, and widening of minor bridges, slab culverts and RCC box culverts.
“These enhancements will significantly improve road safety, capacity and connectivity in the region. Additionally, the order of our new industrial infrastructure from the Reliance Mapdu Multi Modal Logistics Park is an important step in expanding our presence in the order logistics and industrial development segment,” he said.
The company said it continues to diversify its project portfolio across highways, bridges and industrial developments with a focus on timely execution and sustainable engineering practices.
