The Noida Authority has recently issued a recovery certificate (RC) against entrak developers and promoters, which failed to clean the dues of Rs 273-crores despite several notices and settlement opportunities extended under a government order. A public notice on the development of the developer was posted in May 2024 at the entrance of the Anticash Golf View-I project.
The authority has now directed the district administration to recover the arrears in the form of land revenue. It also warned of strict action against any attempt to hide the financial liabilities. It has also written to the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police to initiate action against the developer.
Across Noida, developers of 57 projects have missed the payment to the authority. Following the state's rehabilitation policy, six developers completely waived the two-year zero-term benefits due to the Kovid epidemic.
Developers of 27 projects paid the required 25% outstanding amount, while 14 others opted for policy but only paid partial payments. So far, the developers have deposited Rs 502 crore, while the other 14 have paid Rs 32 crore.
Of the 3,621 flats in 33 projects, which were eligible for registration (25%of the total units), 2,726 have been successfully registered so far.
