The accused was arrested from Loni Tiha area near Loni Inter College.
According to the police, the accused was identified as Ravi Shankar Sharma, a resident of Loni Seema. Sharma works as a property dealer.
On March 7, a report was filed by Chanda Srivastava, a resident of Varanasi at Loni police station, stating that the accused cheated the complainant fraudulently and did not return it, and did not return it, and prepared a fake deed for registration.

Loni's ACP, Siddharth Gautam said that during interrogation, the accused told the police that in 2016-2017, Chanda Srivastava and her brother Abhay Srivastava, Raj Nagar Extension, resident of Ghaziabad, contacted them to buy a conspiracy. It was agreed that he would sell him 150-yard plots in Khasra number 239, Ram Vihar, Banathala, Loni, for a total of Rs 1,550,000.
He said, “He prepared GPA papers for this plot in his name. On the basis of this General Power of Attorney (GPA), he carried out a sales deed for 50 yards of land in Khasra No. 239 on January 25, 2017.
“After full payment, when Chanda Srivastava went to capture his 50-Gaj land, he came to know that the land belonged to LMC.
On inquiry, he assured to provide land elsewhere to pacify him. Subsequently, a sales deed was executed for 70-yard plots in Hajipur through the name of Abhay Srivastava on May 19, 2023 through his acquaintance Rajendra Singh, through his familiar Rajendra Singh.
However, due to Rajendra's family dispute, the deed returned from Abhay on May 22, 2023 in Rajendra's name. Since then he returned about Rs 800,000 to Chanda Srivastava and his brother Abhay Srivastava, but could not return the remaining amount, “said ACP.
