PM Modi To Inaugurate Major Power And Infrastructure Projects In Kanpur On 24 April, Second Phase Of Metro To Be Launched

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Kanpur on 24 April to inaugurate a series of projects with a view to promoting the power infrastructure and urban dynamics.

times of India Reported, the journey will launch the second phase of Panki Power Plant, Neveli Power Ghatampur Project and the city's metro system.

Panki power plant, a state -of -the -art thermal facility, is ready to increase local power generation to a great extent. Similarly, the Neveli Power Ghatampur project will help in meeting the increasing energy demands of Uttar Pradesh.

Metro Phase-II expansion is expected to improve public transport and urban connectivity in Kanpur. According to the report, Prime Minister Bilhaur can also start solar power plant.

A large public meeting will be held at the railway ground in Nirala Nagar, in which thousands of people expect to participate.

Detailed preparations are going on with the district officials working in association with the Special Conservation Group (SPG) to ensure stupid security during the high-profile trip.

With drinking water stations and emergency medical services, several entry and exit points are being arranged.

Local police is conducting intensive security exercises, and comprehensive traffic plans are being developed to manage anticipated mob.

BJP workers are going to door-to-door to raise awareness about the Prime Minister's program, making efforts to gather at the ground level.

To ensure smooth operation, the district administration has formed various committees focusing on congestion control, parking and emergency response.
